Winter fun in the ski region „Dachstein West”
In Gosau on the “gentle” western side of the Dachstein, not far from Salzburg, the city of Mozart, one of the most beautiful family ski areas in the Northern Alps in recent decades has been created. The ski region “Dachstein West” with its snowy slopes connects Gosau with three other towns.
Cross-country ski trails, winter hiking trails and great ski tours promise memorable winter experiences away from the ski slopes.

We love winter - not only because of the clear nights and the sunny, fog-free days, but also because here "quiet time" is not just an empty phrase, but rather a tangible quality of life.
There is also plenty of hustle and bustle at the numerous Christmas markets in the area and on the ski slopes.
In the country house, however, things slow down and winter coziness returns. A good book, a warming punch on the sun terrace and sheep's wool blankets.
Happiness is actually quite easy - even if winter hiking trails, cross-country ski trails or ski slopes are tempting - maybe tomorrow...
